We Built Freeframe: One Search for Every Free, Legal Movie Stream

I'm David Bellairian, founder of AIDiscover and founder and CEO of Glencore Associates. This week we launched Freeframe, a free website that searches the legal free streaming services for you and takes you straight to the page where you press Play. It's live now at freeframetv.netlify.app, and it doesn't need an account, an app or a credit card.

The problem: free TV is everywhere, and hard to find
There is more free, legal streaming in the US than most people realize. Tubi, Pluto TV, Plex, The Roku Channel, Fandango at Home, PBS and a free tier of Prime Video all stream movies and shows with ads. With a library card, Kanopy and Hoopla add ad-free films on top. The catch is that each service has its own app, its own search and a catalog that changes every month. Finding one movie can mean opening five apps.
What Freeframe does
You type a title once and press Find free. Freeframe looks up that title's own page on Tubi, Pluto TV and Kanopy and shows each match with a Play button. When we searched Die Hard, it found four films in the series free on Tubi, each one tap from playing.

Around the search, the site gives you:
11 free, legal services, ranked, with each one's picture quality, ads, sign-up and what it does best.
Every James Bond film, all 25 in release order, with a button to find where each one is free right now.
Modern classics from 1970 on that have streamed free recently, plus 25 public-domain classics that stay free for good.
A world cinema list of 16 award winners with English subtitles.
A Saturday marathon planner that builds a 12-hour lineup with breaks and a meal stop.
A watchlist and star ratings saved on your own device, with picks based on what you rate highly.

How we built it with AI
Freeframe went from idea to public website in about two days, built with Claude as our engineering partner. The part that makes it useful is live search: when you press Find free, a small server looks up each service's own title pages through a web-search API and filters out anything that isn't the actual movie or show. Results are cached, so a popular search is instant for the next person.
That's the same thing we help clients with at AIDiscover. The businesses that get found in AI search results are the ones whose pages are clear, specific and easy for machines to read. Freeframe only works because Tubi, Pluto TV and Kanopy each give every title its own clean page. If your business has one page that tries to say everything, AI tools have a hard time sending people to you.

Try it
Open freeframetv.netlify.app, search for something you've been meaning to watch, and press Play. If you have an LA County Library or Los Angeles Public Library card, check the Platforms tab too: Kanopy and Hoopla are free with it and have no ads.
If you want your business to be as easy for AI search to find as a movie is on Freeframe, that's what we do at AIDiscover.
